Welcome! Dr. Aldrich offers supports to children/youth, their families and schools. Services include psychological evaluations including clinical, bilingual psychological/psycho-educational evaluation as well as Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) consultation and training.
Areas of Practice
Dr. Aldrich has over 25 years of experience working in schools, agencies and in private practice. He conducts psychological evaluations for youth primarily ages 3-19 years. As a NY state licensed psychologist and certified bilingual school psychologist, Seth works to identify and understand challenges in ways that lead to effective treatment. Comprehensive evaluations are tailored to learning and or social, emotional and behavioral concerns including clinical evaluations for learning difficulties/disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mood disorders. He works closely with schools and families, using a problem solving approach, to identify and understand challenges leading to effective treatment/intervention approaches. Dr. Aldrich also consults with schools and families concerning effective ways of monitoring treatment outcomes. He sees school-based referrals at students’ schools and family referrals in his Tully office.

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Consultation
MTSS provides schools with a framework to support students in a timely and effective manner. Core components include universal screening (academic and social, emotional and behavioral concerns), progress monitoring, data-based decision making, scientifically-based core instruction including social emotional learning, and tiered supports for prioritized students. Dr. Aldrich has worked with schools throughout the US as a trainer and consultant.

In this section, there are free resources for addressing social, emotional and behavioral challenges for students. Intervention resources include teacher daily behavior report cards templates with directions for use. Also, Direct Behavior Ratings (DBRs) are a progress monitoring tool for prioritized concerns. These resources are available for download in a linked Google folder. Dr. Aldrich is available for consultation with districts wanting professional development to implement these resources.
Presentations and Resources for English Learners
Dr. Aldrich is bilingual (Spanish). He is a NY State certified bilingual psychologist and a NY State licensed psychologist. He consults and conducts evaluation concering English learners (ELs). He has conducted several national and statewide conference presentations concerning RTI/MTSS for English leaners and is the author of RTI for English Language Learners: Understanding, Differentiation and Supports (Dude Publishing) currently available as a laminated guide.
